Camera composition, lighting, environment
Environment lighting and composition study using marketplace assets from Fab. Lighting, sky, atmosphere, camera Composition, and post-processing by me.
For this scene, I focused on building a cinematic environment using Unreal Engine tools to create mood, atmosphere, and visual storytelling.
I assembled the environment using pre-built assets and refined the scene composition through camera placement and lighting. Cinematic shots were created using CineCamera Actors, allowing me to control focal length, depth of field, and framing to achieve a more filmic presentation.
To enhance the atmosphere, I implemented Volumetric/Exponential Height Fog and created rainfall using Niagara particle systems, which helped add movement and environmental depth to the scene. Lighting was established using an HDRI Backdrop, providing natural ambient illumination and reflections across the environment.
Finally, I used Sequencer to animate camera movements and produce a short cinematic sequence showcasing the environment from multiple angles.
This project demonstrates my workflow in environment composition, cinematic presentation, atmospheric effects, and real-time rendering within Unreal Engine.
